The hotel offers a stunning atmosphere reminiscent of colonial times, with a beautiful view of the river. Enjoying freshly made salads at breakfast was a delightful experience. However, the room felt a bit dark despite all lights being on, and noise from the street occasionally interrupted the tranquility. The bathroom style wasn't to my liking, and better communication about extra dining charges could improve the stay.

I stayed for a couple of nights to soak in the vibes of Luang Prabang. The hotel perfectly captures the old colonial style, blending well with antique furnishings, which made me feel like I was in a living museum. Breakfast by the river was a highlight, offering amazing views as I enjoyed a freshly cooked meal. Plus, having bicycles available to explore nearby attractions like the Night Market and various temples was a major plus. My only issues were the room being a bit dark and some noise from the street, but overall, it was a great place to unwind after my adventures.

The soundproofing was quite poor, as I could hear traffic and other guests clearly at night.

Couples deserve this gem
We had some lovely moments thanks to the cooking class with chef Noy and Zack, they made me feel like a pro even if I didn't light up the kitchen like my former life. Then, enjoying cocktails by the river with the sunset, very nice atmosphere and it really took the edge off.

Staying at this hotel was a charming experience. We loved the unique old colonial atmosphere, especially while enjoying our breakfast on the balcony with a view. The cooking class was a standout, providing insight into local flavors as we prepared meals by the Nam Khan river.
In my wife’s opinion, the extra charges for dining should be better communicated.

A delightful heritage experience!
I had a lovely stay while enjoying the charming atmosphere of this heritage hotel. The antique furnishings truly made me feel like I was in a living museum, and the breakfast by the river was a standout, especially with the stunning views. The staff went above and beyond, facilitating a fascinating cooking class that was filled with laughter and delicious food. However, it would be great if the noise insulation was a bit better, as I occasionally heard street sounds during the night.
